Representative medical-center exterior

Start with your operating priorities

A hospital and an outpatient medical center do not have identical facilities or operating patterns. The review needs to establish the property scope, shared services and relevant decision makers. Finance, procurement, facilities and the client’s operational teams should understand which records and systems are being assessed before recommendations are evaluated.

Review the costs and systems together

The AssetMax approach connects the operating-expense record with the later utility, building-systems and insurance review. The scope is agreed for your properties rather than assumed from a sector label.

Facility and supplier expenditure

Bring recurring vendor charges, relevant agreements and utility expenses into a structured review. Consider the actual service requirements when examining alternatives.

Building systems and conditions

Assess appropriate HVAC, lighting, controls and water systems, with equipment condition and property constraints identified.

Capital and operating decisions

Separate potential billing or contract changes from projects requiring technical work, funding and implementation planning.

Plan around the property

Coordinate proposed work with facilities and operational leadership, including the responsible clinical teams where relevant. Agree access, sequencing and professional responsibilities for the actual scope.

A practical first step

Discuss your properties and priorities with Robert. Start the free SpendVue assessment with the signed assessment Engagement Letter and twelve months of Accounts Payable reports; utility, insurance and building records are requested for the full AssetMax audit after the findings meeting, Master Services Agreement and $5,000 advance.

Before you decide

Are clinical equipment and patient care included?

This page concerns facility expenditure and relevant building systems within the agreed engagement scope. It does not offer clinical services or promise patient-care outcomes. The client’s responsible operational and clinical teams must establish requirements for any proposed works affecting their environment.

Can different medical property types be reviewed?

Discuss the buildings and operating arrangements with Robert so the scope can be established. Hospitals, medical offices and outpatient centers may have different equipment, services and requirements. Do not assume one benchmark, technical measure or implementation plan is appropriate for all healthcare properties.

What information is needed to begin?

The free SpendVue assessment begins after the assessment letter is signed and twelve months of Accounts Payable reports are received by email. You do not need to gather utility bills or arrange a site visit to make an inquiry. After the SpendVue findings meeting, signed Master Services Agreement and $5,000 advance, the team requests the utility, insurance and building information needed for the next stage.

Does requesting an audit commit us to an engagement?

No. An inquiry starts a conversation about your properties and priorities. It does not accept the engagement letter or client terms, authorize work or start an audit. Scope, responsibilities and commercial obligations are agreed separately before the audit begins.
